Verizon Wireless Now Accepting Pre-Orders For HTC Windows Phone 8X and Nokia Lumia 822

If you have been waiting to pre-order a Windows Phone on Verizon Wireless, now is your chance. The carrier has officially opened up pre-orders for the HTC Windows Phone 8X and Nokia Lumia 822 earlier this morning, both set to be released by American Thanksgiving. The HTC Windows Phone 8X retails for $199 with a new 2-year service agreement, available in blue, red or black color models. The Nokia Lumia 822 is exclusive to Verizon Wireless and runs for $99.99 alongside a 2-year activation. The Lumia 822 will be available in white, grey color models.

Both new Windows Phone smartphones are compatible with 4G LTE networks and feature Live Tiles, People Hub and Data Sense. Live Tiles is a prominent feature of Windows Phone devices, allowing for live, customizable home screens. People Hub provides real-time updates from all social networks, while Data Sense helps users track and manage their data usage. By the end of the year, Samsung’s ATIV Odyssey smartphone running the Windows Phone 8 platform will also be available on Verizon Wireless. You can sign up with Verizon Wireless to receive future updates.
